The initial idea for this website came to me while I was undertaking my Digital Forensics and Cyber Security degrees at university many years ago. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Forensics and Security. During my studies (which were heavily focused on computer science—yay!), I was taking a module in ‘web development’ and needed an ‘idea’ that I could stick with long-term. This website was meant to be that ‘idea.’ However, life got in the way, and I ended up going with a much simpler website focused on somthing else.
Towards the end of 2024, I wanted a reason to get back into development and improve my skill set. I created Quest4n6.com out of frustration with the lack of digital forensics websites focused on the UK. My goal was to build a straightforward, user-friendly site that brings together relevant information tailored to UK audiences whenever possible, while also featuring content from other regions to offer a broader perspective.
With a simple, responsive design, Quest4n6.com aims to grow into a valuable resource on digital forensics, cybersecurity, and other niche IT areas. Updates may be occasional as I juggle this with a busy life, but I’m committed to adding fresh content whenever I can.
